My system is a small family 13'x18 'space that is open on one side, set up a kitchen. I had my Pioneer VSX-1019AH-K and the operation for about a week. I'm not an audiophile by any means. This is my 3 stereo / home theater system in 36 years. My first system in 1973, Phillips was a turntable, Marantz 2225 receiver and Marantz Imperial 6G speakers (I like yet). have used for 22 years until the purchase in 1995, a Technics SA GX490 receiver, Boston Acoustic CR6 and CR1 speakers, Technics CD player and Sony DVD player. Very nice AV receiver with tons of links. Great sound and audio options. He will join 11 speakers set in which more than half the rest. The HDMI cable is only running to our flat-screen plasma TV. All components of the receiver and controls everything and sends it to the TV. Be aware that this unit is high and should open the space to breathe.

The invention of the GPS navigation system is not as new as most people believe; they have been around and used ever since the first GPS satellite was launched into space back in 1978. Global positioning satellites have many civilian and military applications, but one of the most pervasive is navigation.

However, using a GPS navigation system inside an ordinary automobile, is somewhat different than using it on airplane. Transportation by car is dependent on the roads that are traveled. In reality, GPS readings alone such as longitude, latitude and altitude are for all practical purposes useless when you’re driving to Aunt Mabel’s house. When driving an automobile you can end up going through urban canyons and tunnels, where satellite singles cannot get through. So a different type of GPS technology is needed for automobile GPS navigation systems.

I had this receiver about 6 months and Onkyo has once again made me a solid receiver. I had no problem at all, and Amazon is first class in the navigation to me.It is very heavy and as if they had known the SMEs, can become very hot if not properly ventilated. I solved this with an aftermarket cooler AV, which is located on top of the receiver and vents through the back of my closet closed. Do not go wrong with this device and have nothing but a smile on your face and your guests when you press the power button. Enjoy!
